Dr. Meg Palisoc is a former elementary school teacher and nationally recognized education leader with experience in both higher education and K-12 schools.

Meg can't wait for you to fall in love with Casper like she did.

Meg loves animals. She grew up with many pets, including cats and rabbits and birds and fish, and even a turtle. Meg has never had a rescue dog before. Until now.

Sally Lin is a pre-med student at the University of Texas at Austin.

She enjoys watching anime, playing classical piano, and drawing digital illustrations on her iPad. Sally has over one million views on her TikTok account @artworkahead, and she loves playing with her neighbor's cat, Rex.

Here is Sally with Casper, who loves to be picked up and carried like a little baby.

Casper is a Bichon Frise - Poodle mix, and he was rescued by an agency called Bichon FurKids.

Casper was adopted by Meg and her husband, Randy, in 2015. 

Early one Saturday morning, they drove for two whole hours to San Diego to adopt Casper. They didn't find out until later that Casper was originally rescued from an animal shelter in Los Angeles, just a few miles from their home.
